    I personally believe in this theory, that accepting your emotions and allowing yourself to process the emotional suffering help in cope with the stress and turbulence and manage the situation with courage, calmness and resilience. I loved the story and it depicts a true situation of women. Glad that you chose a relevant topic and wrote such a beautiful short story.

    So true….nobody’s life is perfect. And we cannot appreciate happiness if we have not been through problems. I never ask Him, why me. My prayer of gratitude starts with..I am grateful for the roof over my head and the food on my plate! Millions don’t have that. My glass is half full not half empty and I want it to overflow so that I can help others.

    I truly agree with this post and the story of Smita that acceptance is the key to getting over the emotional turmoil of life. Denial leads to the worsening of the situation over a period of time. I have seen this up and close with someone very close to me. Finding your own ways to deal with the situation and at times consulting with an expert is the best solution.
