Snakes and other reptiles, Dreams decoded here! #atozchallenge

Reptiles are not very welcomed creatures. No doubt they are beautiful on their own, but Many people are afraid of reptiles. If you have watched any season of ‘Khatron ke Khiladi’, you must be nodding your head in approval.

Reptiles are cold blooded animals. Reptiles can live in water as well as on land, they generally represent people in your life who cannot be trusted. We generally see in movies and cartoons as well they are shown as dark characters.

Remember ‘Kaa’ from the Jungle book. How cunning the snake is, with its hypnotic eyes and voice.

Let’s see what signs these reptiles bring to us through our dreams.

Snakes in your dreams:

When someone says snakes, what comes to my mind is Medusa, with her head full of poisonous snakes. And one look at her can turn the person to stone. Poisonous or non-poisonous, snakes make us feel scared.

Although in India we celebrate their existence, for helping farmers by keeping rodents away on ‘Nag Panchami’, still they are not considered as friends.

We have also heard the story from ‘Garden of earth’ that how the serpent lured and misled eve into eating the apple from the tree.

So, snakes represent hidden sexual desires, emotional dependence, temptation and coping with subconscious mind.

If you see being Swallowed by snake:

This type of dream represents that you are becoming too negative in waking life. You are being pessimist. You need to get a balance of emotions. Try talking to someone of reinforcing your blessings to get you out of this phase.

It also means that your behaviour has upset too many people around you. They might become revengeful or in fact are looking for an opportunity to take you down.

A snake surrounding your body:

This dream is trying to tell you that you feel trapped in love relationship. You are not happy, content or satisfied in a relationship, and before the snake strangles you it is better to get out of it.

If the snake you see is a Poisonous snake:

This dream means you are not living in the present, rather you are too consumed in the past and its effecting you negatively. You are so confused inside that it is taking away your inner peace.

Snake attacks you:

When a snake attacks you in your dream simply means that enemies are preparing to attack you and can possibly harm as well. It is a good idea to analyse your surroundings and see who is planning to harm you. If you see carefully you will find the person who the dream is warning you about.

When a Snake bite you in dreams:

If you get a snake bite, it means you have a person in life you trust but he is not worth it. He is jealous of you and doesn’t think good of you. Get away from such deceitful friend.

Domesticated snake:

We see domesticated snakes only with snake charmers, if you see one such snake in your dream then it is a good omen. It means you will overcome the problems or inner conflict and make peace with yourself.

Lizard in dreams:

Although they are man’s friends in real life as they keep insects away, however the are not treated as very good to have. Neither in real life not in dreams.

Lizard in your dream can mean you are currently into an overwhelming or worrying phase of life.

If you see a lizard on its own away from you, there is no harm it means the unfaithful people are away from you, however if the lizard attacks you and you fight back means you are prepared of every situation.

Chameleon in your dreams:

Changes colour and adjusts to its environment conveniently. However, they can be easily scared and threatened. These dreams mean you are Self-sufficient, free willed and innovative.

When you see a chameleon in your dream it means you are adaptable. It also implies that a change is about to happen. If the chameleon turned green in your dream it means the change will be smooth and you will adapt to it without much trouble.

Alligator or crocodile:

Whenever we go to zoo, we see all the animals moving, showing tricks, or at least moving however the laziest ones, the alligators and crocodiles lay just like stone. They move only when necessary. If they need to move or if they are hungry.

Seeing them n dreams means here is something bigger will happen most probably New beginning, in personal or professional life. Something big that will make you do some amendments in your lifestyle. We can say that mandatory changes for survival.

These dreams are also a sign that you need to work on your financial security, there might be financial stress or danger, predicted.

The time when you get reptile dreams, in fact recurring reptile dreams is when you need to understand your day to day life, your surrounding s and people who are close to you.

These dreams occur if you are about to call someone’s bluff, you are unsatisfied in your love and passion matters or when you have trust issues, feeling betrayed.

When you are having reptile dreams, you can feel worried, scared, deceived, betrayed, sad, shocked, reactive, and grim.

There are many movies about reptiles, however the famous ones are the Anaconda series. Where a gigantic snake with two head create havoc. I would not recommend to watch it with kids, as they will get scared. Rather you can catch Rango. It is a pet chameleon who aspires to be a hero, lands in a drought-affected town plagued by bandits. He claims to be the saviour and makes an attempt to protect it. The voice over is by none other than Johnny Depp. It’s a fun movie.

That’s all for today, tomorrow we connect again with more dream interpretations. Till then stay home, stay safe.
