X’cuse me Rodents and vermin! Do not infest my dreams. Let’s decode dreams with Rats, Lice, ticks etc. #atozchallenge

Who likes being surrounded by insects? Crawling on body, spoiling food and clothes or infestation of insects. In our waking life we can use many repellents to get rid of them, however what can we do in dreams. At least we can try to find out why they visited us in dreams, what does it mean to us.

Let’s begin:

Rats in your dreams:

They make me cringe. They come in all sizes. As far as dream interpretation is considered, rat, mice, hamster all fall into same category. They mean a deceitful person.

You might think of someone you know as small, insignificant but they are taking advantage of your trust.

If you have watched the Harry potter series, you know that every budding wizard has to bring a pet along with them to school. As harry has Hedwig the owl, his best friend Ronald Weasley has a rat names Srabbers. Who actually was peter Pettigrew in his Animagus form.

He stays with the Weasley family for 14 years, still they could not know who he really is and always considered as a farm rat. Till the time a fight breaks between Professor Snape and Sirius Black in the movie ‘Harry potter and the prisoner of Azkaban’.

That’s what Rodent dreams means, you are not recognizing someone’s real face and they are taking advantage of your trust.

Cockroaches

Not all that looks and makes feel bad is not necessarily bad. Seeing a cockroach in dream implies that you are resilient. Mosquitos and cockroaches are two creatures present on earth from a long time, at least since dinosaurs were there on earth.

This can mean that you will handle all the adverse conditions and still survive the situation. Seeing a cockroach one or many, simply means you will have to get out of your comfort zone, do something out of the box, be resilient and get your things in line.

Ticks

We have a pet at home and completely know how much damage these little blood sucking parasites can do to a living being. We always keep our Dog as clean and tick free.

These ticks are parasites which affect the living being slowly and kill the immunity system.

Ticks in your dreams can only mean bad news. It can be a relationship, family feud, office politics something that knowingly or unknowingly is taking your life from bad to worst.

If you see ticks crawling on your body, means you are going to fall sick. It’s a warning, better be attentive to your body’s signals in waking life. And take appropriate action.

Lice:

Lice are pesky bugs. Now a days We hardy see them, but decades ago it was a common site for people with long and unmanaged hair. Its very hard to remove them from hair, and once they lay eggs at the hair roots it gets tougher to get rid of them.

Lice in dreams means that you are being bothered by something, right now it’s a minor problem but if not addressed on time it might become a big trouble. Its time to act, if you have any doubts, queries or need to know answers then do it now.

Butterflies:

Who doesn’t like to see butterflies? We even have butterfly parks in many cities of the world. They are colorful and vibrant. They cheer us up any moment.  Seeing butterflies in your dream is more of a spiritual dream. It means you are connected to your inner voice and are at peace. These dreams also mean you are ready for the next phase of life and ready to transform yourself. They also mean all is well in our love life.

Housefly and other insects:

There can be termites, wasp, bees, worms, maggots, ants, spiders and many more insects visiting or bothering you in your dreams.

Seeing a spider generally means you are feeling trapped. Or you are into a web of lies and your trust has been challenged.

Ants and bees visiting your dream are making you realize that you are a workaholic and you need to take a break. It also means that you need to save well for the tough times might be stored in future. Maintain a work life balance.

Now we know what do all these small creatures want to convey us through dreams. Insects, worms, rats are all very scary. Entomophobia is the name of phobia for fear of insects overall. I guess I have that one.

For binge watch, X-Men series based on superheroes of Marvel comics is nice. And if you are your to finish Harry potter series, then you can grab it too. I have read all the books too; they are better than movies.

That’s all. Stay connected as we will be covering unknown places in dreams tomorrow.
